DETAILED ITINERARY

The day will start very early, with pickup scheduled for 4:20 AM and a packed breakfast provided. The drive to the northern province will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the Volcanoes National Park reception. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a cup of coffee while the guide processes your documents (gorilla permit and passport). You will then meet park officials for a brief briefing about the gorilla family you will visit. After the briefing, you will return to the car and drive from the park reception to the park entry, where the trek will begin.
The trek may vary in length—short, medium, or long—depending on the location of the assigned gorilla family.
Once you encounter the gorillas, you will spend a full hour with them in their natural habitat, observing their interactions as they wrestle, roll around, jump, and occasionally bite or hit each other.
After this incredible experience, you will return to the parking area, where our guide will take you for a late lunch. Following lunch, you will be driven back to Kigali, where the trip began, marking the end of our daily gorilla trekking adventure.
