DETAILED ITINERARY

Morning: Pick Up and Departure

5:00 AM – Pickup from Hotel in Kigali
- Start your adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Kigali. Enjoy a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park while your guide briefs you on the day’s trek.
7:30 AM – Arrival at Volcanoes National Park Headquarters
- Arrive at the park headquarters for registration and a pre-trek briefing by the park rangers. Meet your trekking group and guide.
8:00 AM – Begin Trekking Mount Bisoke
- Start your trek through lush rainforest, bamboo forests, and alpine meadows. As you ascend, enjoy sightings of unique flora and fauna, including possible encounters with gorillas and golden monkeys.

Midday: Reach the summit and Start Descending

12:00 PM – Reach the Summit of Mount Bisoke
- After a challenging ascent, reach the summit of Mount Bisoke. Marvel at the stunning views of the crater lake and the surrounding volcanoes. Take time to rest, enjoy your packed lunch, and capture memorable photos.
1:00 PM – Begin Descent
- Start your descent back down the volcano, retracing your steps through the diverse ecosystems.

Afternoon: Return to Kigali

3:30 PM – Arrival at Volcanoes National Park Headquarters
- Return to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate of achievement for completing the trek. Enjoy some refreshments and share your experiences with fellow trekkers.
4:00 PM – Departure to Kigali
- Begin your journey back to Kigali, reflecting on the day’s adventure.

Evening:

6:30 PM – Arrival in Kigali
- Arrive back in Kigali and transfer to your hotel, concluding your thrilling trek up Mount Bisoke.
